The Noteboom I have the book on this opening written by Mark Van Der Werf and Teun Van Der Vorm. However, I am looking for more resources on the Internet. Does anyone out there know any good web sites devoted to this?

rabbit You got "the" book on the Noteboom. You might try some of the large databases on the web like chesslab and chessbase. I recall there was a nice Noteboom game in "Logical Chess move by move" Chernev. The British master Abrahams was playing the opening regularly while Noteboom was still in knickers---So why did they name it the Noteboom and who is they? Notebooms early death perhaps was the reason. Hey that would make an interesting forum---How do openings get their names?
